Governance first
- Chair the organization's AI Advisory Committee, which gives staff and leadership a shared place to set direction.
- Drafted the AI acceptable use policy and a client confidentiality policy before any tool reached staff.
- Serve as a cross-departmental AI champion, helping each program find uses that fit its work and its clients.
Choosing the platform
- Evaluated 7+ AI platforms against data privacy standards suited to an agency handling sensitive client information.

Training people to use it well
- Built an ongoing AI training series covering prompting frameworks, tool comparison and hands-on platform skills, with branded materials and full facilitator guides.
- The first session drew 30 RSVPs in one week, well above prior training attendance.
